The Little Issues Publication #332 – Life, laughter, and many nice meals!

Welcome to the weekend, associates! I did a double-take once I wrote at present’s date for the e-newsletter. Very like Anne Shirley, “I’m so very glad I dwell in a world the place there are Octobers.” The beautiful leaves, the cooler climate with a promise of fall and winter actions, cozy fires (we lit the primary one final evening!), mugs of tea and cocoa within the afternoon, I adore it all.

And never that I’m speeding issues one bit, however I can hardly look ahead to the primary snowfall. (Sorry, native Ohioans, that may by no means not be thrilling for me!) I’ll be in Phoenix this week, and whereas the sunshine and visits with household and associates are all the time beautiful, I can let you know now that I’ll be counting down the times till I’m again house to get pleasure from all of the awesomeness that’s fall in Ohio.

ON THE BLOG this week: Filled with spiced floor beef and lined in tangy tomato sauce, cabbage roll casserole is a hearty stick-to-your-ribs meal. With all the flavour of the extra labor-intensive Cabbage Rolls with a minimal of effort, it is a dinner-time win.

Peanut Butter Apple Dip is easy and barely candy, excellent to get pleasure from with apples, pretzels, or something you’ll be able to dip into it. Judging from the truth that no less than 4 folks requested the recipe the primary time I made this, (and I practically couldn’t cease laughing once I advised them how easy it was) I’m calling this successful. What’s to not love about an appetizer that takes about 3 minutes to throw collectively?

This totally loaded Hen Potato Broccoli Casserole begins with fluffy mashed potatoes which are combined with tender bites of broccoli and hen, then generously sprinkled with bacon and cheese. The result’s a fully irresistible dinner.

Pumpkin muffins stuffed with melting chocolate chips and bursting with autumn spices – is there something extra quintessentially fall than the odor of pumpkin spices drifting by way of the home?

Baked oatmeal, loaded with summer season berries and frivolously sweetened with brown sugar is a good way to start out the day. Berries are a mainstay in my fridge. The opposite day I had a couple of issues that wanted for use up and baked oatmeal was the right means to verify these berries didn’t go to waste.

What I’m CRAVING: These Cinnamon Espresso Twists caught my eye this week. They sound incredible and I don’t know once I’ve seen a prettier cinnamon roll.

My FAVORITE THINGS this week are these cheap little jar openers. Nothing makes me really feel older than once I can’t get a jar open today. Severely although, what’s the cope with feeling like such a weakling today?? I’ve tried numerous jar openers over the previous few years and these little grippy pads work fantastically. (And so they get bonus factors for taking on virtually no drawer area.)

What I’m LISTENING to: Like My Father by Jax. I heard this track for the primary time this week and it’s simply such a candy tribute to her mother and father. It makes me grin each time.

What I’m WATCHING: The Terminal Listing. This present has shocked me. Sean and I are watching it collectively, now we have another episode to go. It’s fairly darkish and a bit extra violent than I sometimes like, but it surely’s been an incredible watch and I’m impressed with Chris Pratt’s performing. It’s totally different from something I’ve seen him do up to now.

“Really my soul finds relaxation in God; my salvation comes from him.” Psalm 62:1

Wishing you a stunning week stuffed with little issues that make you smile!
