Arizona-based Barro’s Pizza is making a gift of $10,000 to a resident within the state as a part of the 2022 Arizona Dr. Pepper Tuition Giveaway, in response to a Tucson Foodie report.
The 40-year-old model has handed out $95,000 up to now for academic bills. Submissions began in late September.
“Our neighborhood is such an essential a part of who we’re as an organization,” Ken Barro, proprietor of Barro’s Pizza, advised the information outlet. “We’re honored annually to companion with Dr. Pepper to provide away $10,000 to an area pupil which may be struggling to pay for varsity or the bills that include it. The award is given to an Arizona resident 18 years or older chosen at random from on-line and text-to-win entries submitted by means of Dec. 19. The cash is for use for academic bills.
